Chocko Valliappa receives the Enterprising Edupreneur Award 2023

In its 51st BRIDGE conference, the Tamil Nadu ICT Academy honored Chocko Valliappa, MD of The Sona Group, with the Enterprising Edupreneur Award 2023.

The theme of the conference was ‘Building Human Capital for a Trillion Dollar Digital Economy’ and it underlined the significance of building up human resources to bolster the state’s economic growth and digital transformation.

With the Minister for IT and Digital Services of Tamil Nadu, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan as the Chief Guest, the conference focused on global human capital development strategies and practices to render the state’s human resources, economically viable. With the participation of policymakers, academicians, and business leaders, the event is being seen as a step towards preparing the human capital to contribute to making India a trillion-dollar economy.

The Chief Guest presented the Enterprising Edupreneur Award 2023 to Chocko Valliappa. The term ‘Edupreneur’ is a neologism interpreted as the intersection of being an educator and an entrepreneur. The conference, attended by many dignitaries, is being deemed as a huge success.
