Mr. Venkatraman Umakanth represents The Sona Group at the CII TN Skills Conference

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Tamil Nadu, conducted a CII TN Skills Conference on the 28th of July 2023 at Chennai. The theme of the conference was ‘Empowering Talent’ and it was attended by renowned industrialists, academicians, and government officials.

The purpose of the conference was to make a combined effort to identify the precise areas to work on in order to conjure up a productive public-private partnership between the three pillars of economic, social, and personal growth, industry, academia, and the government.

Conducted in phases throughout the day, the interface between academia and industry was especially productive. The one-hour session witnessed highly valuable input from scholars and business heads. Among the dignitaries, Mr. Venkatraman Umakanth represented The Sona Group. The Senior Vice President and Head of HireMee (of The Sona Group) gave remarkable insight regarding the matter at hand.

The CII TN Skills Conference was a huge success from all perspectives. Along with CII TN, the event was co-hosted by Nan Mudhalvan, a joint endeavor of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation and HireMee of The Sona Group. Lennox and the ZF Group were the event partners.
