Sona College of Technology, a part of The Sona Group, is taking the 44th Olympiad torch to create awareness about the event.

Sona College of Technology, a part of The Sona Group, is carrying the 44th Olympiad torch to create awareness about the event. The torch is taken from Coimbatore to Salem, which is carried to the next institution by the student at Sona College of Technology, Ms. Thirumangai.

National level 44th Chess Olympiad Competitions will be held in Chennai. To create awareness about the competitions Olympiad torch is taken from Coimbatore to the other parts of Tamil Nadu. The torch is handed over to Ms. Thirumangai, National Soft Tennis winner, to take it to other institutions like St. John’s School, Saradha Women’s College, Government Women’s College, and Fort Government Girls Higher Secondary School.

The torch is taken to the Collectorate at Salem. Collector Karmegam received the torch.
