State-level Cultural competitions are conducted at the Sona College of Technology.

The School Education Department of Tamil Nadu is conducting a state-level cultural competition at Salem Sona College of Technology, a part of The Sona Group.

The competition is conducted to develop the creativity of the students and keep the traditional arts alive. The competition is open for the students from class 9 to 12 for both private and government schools. Competitions in music, dance, and visual arts are part of the group of the competitions.

The competition started at Sona College of Technology on 16th November 2021. District Education Officer of Salem, Udayakumar, presided the competition. Dr. Senthilkumar, Principal of Sona College of Arts and Science, was present at the program. The competition will be conducted till 18th November 2021.
