The Hindu featured the student of Thiagarajar Polytechnic college in their education column.
Thiagarajar Polytechnic College is a part of The Sona Group. Three students from the college, namely, Athik Mohamed M, Deepesh M, and Anung Yangfo K, led by the former, presented their game at Toycathon 2021, a digital event by AICTE to promote the native toys of India with cultural values.
In the event, the trio showcased their virtual game. It is a simple game that produces a high-quality experience. Athik used a VR headset, a phone, the app, and his static cycle to take the cycler to the monumental places of India. To add a touch of Indian values he has included Vedic music to the background, which caught the attention of PM Modi in the event.
This event and the students were featured in The Hindu’s education column, titled, “News from the world of Education: July 13, 2021”. The game by the trio is called “Heritage Race”.
